WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

Munchkin Academy adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our program they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives. Our curriculum follows the Kansas Early Learning Standards, ensuring that children are well-prepared with the tools and knowledge necessary for Kindergarten.​

We meet the best of both words by having the structure and layout of a center-based preschool, while providing the comfort and consistency of a home environment.

At Munchkin Academy we have mixed-age groups. Children in our program in both AM and PM sessions are ages 2.5 - 5 years old. There are many benefits to mixed-age classrooms including:

- They mimic family structures and neighborhood groupings​

- Leadership increases among older children

- Mixed-aged classrooms stimulate each other's development

- Academics and social skills are improved for all children

- Mixed-aged classrooms can boost self-esteem​​​
